Do you have a pre sleep routine?
🌜 Being ready for sleep, not just bed, an hour before you intend to sleep will stop you worrying about what time it is and will keep you feeling relaxed.
🌜 Make sure you're ready for sleep over an hour before you want to be. (You should have already brushed your teeth, set your alarm, taken your make up off e.t.c)
🌜 If you've had a relaxed evening, focus the last of it on how relaxed you are feeling. Smell the scent of the wax melt or candle you've had on, feel cozy with the material of your pjs touching your skin.

🌜 Get in your bed and feel the weight of the covers caress you. Lay your arms by your side and visualise each muscle relaxing in your body, from the forehead down.
🌜 Breathe in and out deeply and slowly, 6 seconds in, 6 seconds out. Do this until you feel yourself switching off.
🌜 Alow your mind to relax, you have nothing to worry about. The day is done and you have earned your time to rest.
If you wake up too soon, don't clock watch or get annoyed with yourself because you can't sleep
Enjoy the fact that you actually have a few hours to just lay and do nothing but relax.
