This Aquarius Super Full Moon Ritual has great healing powers and can help us cut ties with anything that doesn't resonate with us.
Like at every full moon, this is the perfect time to let go of what no longer serves you.
However, this month has two Super Full Moons, making it incredibly strong for helping us to cut the things that don't fit, from of our lives.
How do full moons make you feel?
A full moon has always been my favourite type of moon.
I can stand, staring up at the night sky, marvelling at the moon for ages.
Thinking about all of the things I am still to learn about our planet, our history, why we are here, what else is out there..and actually how small our seemingly 'big' problems are, in the grand scheme of things.
A full moon makes me feel closer to myself and what I really want from life. It makes me feel a lot more grounded.

This Aquarius Super Full Moon brings energy to help us release
If a full moon brings clarity to what you really want from life, then you're probably also realising all of the things that no longer serve you and could be dragging you down.
This is why I love performing Full Moon Rituals. You can in fact use any one of my Ritual Self Care Collection Candles as part of your full or new moon rituals to increase the energy you're vibrating at and calling in.
Releasing things isn't always straight forward, sometimes it takes work
The time around a Full Moon can be emotional because it brings to the surface the realisation of things that might be quite hard to let go, but you know it's in your best interest to do so.
Things that may no longer serve you could be relationships, either friendship, family or romantic.
They could also be the things that have been in your life for a while, things that you have always wanted and worked for, like a career path or your own business. So it may feel like they are a strong part of your identity.
Please know that this moon carries great healing energy, and a lot more than a normal full moon, being a 'super' full moon. So if you're thinking of that one thing that feels hard to let go of, but is in your best interests to, and you really feel that in your soul, you can do it.
Know that you have gotten through all of your hardest days so far, and you have managed to get through things you never thought you'd see the end of at the time.
There could be a lot of different thoughts whirling around your head at the moment
This Full Moon will centre on the thoughts going on in your head. You may have already found yourself to be overthinking and dwelling on things that aren't serving you.
Don't push those thoughts away though. Listen to what you're thinking, take stock of how it feels, and journal everything down. This Aquarious energy can allow us to see things more logically and with a bit of distance from the problem.
Sometimes hearing a different point of view lifts the load and helps us to understand things better so sharing your thoughts with a friend or family member can also help.
The Aquarius Super Full Moon Ritual
The super full moon tonight is here to heal us, but in order to heal we need to do a lot of work on ourselves to get there.
What you will need:
- Candle - I'm going to use my Love Ritual Candle for this full moon (but any candle that has a scent that strongly resonates with you and the work you want to do will work)
- Your favourite journal and pen
- A crystal/s of your choice (this could be citrine or rose quartz if you struggle choosing)
- Soothing music
- A glass of water
The Aquarius Super Full Moon Ritual:
- First, dim the lights and put your music on softly
- Gather everything you need for your ritual in one area
- Invite your guardian angels to be with you on this journey
- Remove any large botanicals or crystals from the candle.
- Then remove the spell scroll so you can open it and read it out loud.
- Then light the candle, making sure it's somewhere safe, away from pets, children and draughts.
- Hold your crystal/s in your hand, sit up straight, and say 'I am worthy of the emotions and thoughts I have. My guardian angels and spirit guides are always guiding me towards my best interests. Nothing is ever wrong or a mistake, I learn through love'.
- Close your eyes and mediate for 5 minutes. Completely clear your mind.
- Once 5 minutes is up (I use the timer on my phone), open your eyes and take a deep breath.
- Grab your journal and start writing whatever comes to mind. If you struggle, I find writing 'I don't know what to write' always steers me towards what I need to do.
- Once you have finished journalling, thank your guardian angels for being with you on this journey and close your journal.
- Drink the glass of water to seal the ritual.
- Leave your candle burning until it has reached a full melt pool. The energies will continue to flow and work in your favour.
This ritual will still be guided by the Aquarius Super Full Moon energies, even 3 days after this full moon.
